Big news for WJC:

Big news for me posted on the Tank Girl FB feed this week. I will be getting the chance to work with Alan Martin himself, on an upcoming Tank Girl strip. Not much more to tell just yet, of course I will not stop banging on about it any chance i may get but here are a few pieces that I have done so far.

I'm very excited but this is a serious business. TG has a big old following and only few (high caliber) artists have followed the incomparable Jamie Hewlett (Jim Mahfood, Mick McMahon, Rufus Dayglo) so it's going to be a big old experience, looking forward to it.

Impersonators es una serie de retratos de hombres y mujeres en paro que se ven obligados a disfrazarse para mendigar propinas en el Hollywood Boulevard de Los Angeles. El fotógrafo argentino Nico Silberfaden los llevó a su estudio y les pidió que se mostraran sin imitar a nadie, con sus verdaderos sentimientos asomando tras el personaje o la celebrity al que representan para poder comer.

Impersonators is a serie of portraits of unemployed men and women who are forced to beg for tips dressed as pop culture famous characters at Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Argentine photographer Nico Silberfaden asked them to show themselves showing their true feelings after the character or celebrity they represent in order to eat.
