This is "Chun-Li: Modern Woman", my piece for the Street Fighter Show at Nucleus this Saturday night! Honestly, thinking about Street Fighter brings up mostly angry memories. I always ended up playing against someone who had mastered the "teleporting uppercut" move and would use it as many times as necessary to completely immobilize me. Then they would give me a look after I'd been KO'd like "What, that's fair."
As a side note, in case you're wondering what happened to the acrylic version of this painting from 2 posts ago, that piece was lost in a watercolor accident on Sunday, RIP.
NEWS FLASH: This Friday at 12 noon I am going to be participating in LAYER TENNIS! From what I gather it's a neo-future sketch battle to the death. I'm just hoping it turns out better than the last sketch battle I had, in which I suffered a humiliating defeat to Elizabeth.
