Reah Jeong ha diseñado (a modo conceptual y no como producto) un reproductor de vinilos que se eleva gracias al poder de dos imanes. Esa pequeña bola roja que ven ahí sería no sólo la aguja que lee la música sino que además el parlante que la reproduce, inspirandose en el ya existente Vinyl Killer (reproductor diminuto de vinilos que gira por sí sólo).
En todos lados hablan de la idea como imposible, burlándose de la idea. Tendremos que esperar el momento a que Jeong nos mande un video con el producto en acción.
[Quoted from the designer's web] The record player uses a carrier and dock outfitted with a magnetic and auto-calibrating control system which carries the LP into thin air as it is playing music. a self-running record player shaped in the form of a red sphere, contains a needle, amplifier and speaker, spins around the record, bringing the music to life. the sphere that plays the vinyl was technically influenced by the ‘vinyl killer‘, currently the world’s smallest LP player that has a built-in motor, amplifier and speaker.
